Teacher Bios

The Foxes class includes three teachers to serve you: Kelli Weatherman, Nicole Kulesza, and Courtney Holmes. Kelli works Monday through Thursday, Nicole works Monday and Wednesday, and Courtney works Tuesday and Thursday.

Kelli Weatherman (Monday - Thursday)

Hello, my name is Kelli Weatherman. This will be my third year working at MDOCP. I began in September of 2017 as a substitute teacher and found I absolutely loved it. These children are all so special!

A little about myself. I am a Colorado native. I went to school for TV and radio broadcasting and worked in the business for a few years before I fell into Human Resources. I found that I was quite good at it and remained there (7.5 years) until I moved to Kyle, 6 years ago with my family. My husband and I just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary and we love it here, with our boys Tyson, 8, and Braedyn, 5. I was raised in a Christian home and baptized when I was 13 and I love the Lord!

Thank you, parents, for giving me the opportunity to be with your babies. I am greatly looking forward to this year. Bring on the Foxes!

Nicole Kulesza (Monday/Wednesday)

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am so excited to be your kid’s teacher this year! I graduated from Texas State University in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Family Consumer Science. This is my second year at MDOCP and couldn’t ask for a better place to work and send my kids to school. I have worked with preschool aged kids for many years and truly enjoy being able to watch kids learn and grow. I have three awesome kids Kaison (5), Kamden (3), and our new sweet addition Kinsley (2 months). My husband Kyle is an assistant superintendent for Oden + Hughes. He is currently on a job site in Austin near the airport. We moved to Kyle last July and are loving it so far!

I am looking forward to loving, teaching, and having a blast with my students this year!

Courtney Holmes (Tuesday/Thursday)

Hello, I'm Courtney. My husband Justin and I relocated from Austin to San Marcos last year and were blessed to have our two children join the program in the Fall. Cora (4) will be an Owl this year, while Paige (2) will be a Turtle. We are so thrilled to be back for another year in the school that we love so much.

I was born and raised in Southeast Texas and met Justin in 2012. We were married in 2013 in the lovely town of Taos, New Mexico. After starting our family, I went back to school and earned my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. It has been a wonderful experience to stay at home with my girls, so it's very rewarding to be able to work in the program they attend and continue to be near them each day, even though we're in separate classrooms. I love the arts, baking, podcasts, iced coffee and going for long walks. I started teaching this past January in the Penguins class and feel blessed to be back in the room on M/W, in addition to the Fox class on Tu/Th. I am so humbled and grateful that God has led me to this place where I can guide little ones in their precious first years of life.
